EL-Link data communication cable to SHARP^® manager calculators

The Main Cable Features:

Connectible to PC COM port of 25 pins DSUB connector:
- This connector include the electronics, which stand the spark arise from electrostatic charge (e.g. You work in synthetic fibre sweater or pullover), because not include IC (Integraded Circuit), than cable of other manufacturer. This electronic circuit convert the level of signal from one unit to another, because the signal level of the EL, ZQ, YO units smaller than of PC (3V<12V) and because of this the communication not work in all PC without electronic circuit.
- The supply voltage get in PC, battery not necessary to electronics, and spare the SHARP^® battery.
- In package to be found the 25/9 pins converter, in case only 9 pins connector exists on PC.

The cable connect to new SHARP^® calculators with special 2.5mm Jack plug :
The shell of special 2.5mm Jack plug thin, 7 mm diameter, that can be connected the calculator, and the calculator no seesaw on plug.

Cable to the new EL-..., ZQ-..., YO-... series (with 2.5 Jack socket) :

Electronic circuit not be needed to cable, any normal 1:1 cable also can be used to data communication, but this cable not work in all PC.

The original SHARP cable not include electronic circuit.

The EL-Link for Windows® can be used with any SHARP^® compatible serial data communication cable.

Cable to the old EL-..., ZQ-..., YO-... series (with special flat socket):

Complicated electronic circuit be needed to cable.

Cable exits to the serial and the paralel port as well.

The ZQ-Link for DOS 2.04 can be used only the ZQ-Link paralel cable.

The original SHARP cable also included the electronic circuit, but no longer available.
